Quizalize is an easy, free resource available to teachers to use as a formative assessment in the classroom. This resource allows teachers to create quizzes about content of their choosing. Within the quiz teachers can use text-to-speech, add images to questions, and use audio. Teachers can change the duration in which the students can view the question anywhere between fives seconds and five minutes. This resource only allows questions to appear as multiple choice however teachers can put the questions in the order they prefer. This resource falls into Domain 1 of the Danielson framework, which is planning and preparation. A teacher implementing Quizalize into their classroom environment shows they have know of the resources that are available to them to further their students learning. This resources can even be used outside the classroom environment, students can access this specific resource online at home or can printed off as a worksheet to be taken home. Also, this resource reflects a teachers design of coherent instruction. A professional educator will use this resource at the right time in a students learning of the content. Finally, this resource is a great way for teachers to use assessment in the classroom. This resource can be used to quiz the students on the desired content and bring awareness to any misconceptions along the students. Personally, I can see myself implementing this resource in my classroom to assess students. I would have this be a individual activity and use it in the middle of teaching the content to see what information the students have misconceptions on, and toward the end of teaching the desired content to see how my students have grown. This resource is incredibly easy to use and easy to navigate for both the student and the teacher.
