How can this be used in the classroom?
One way to use this resource in a classroom would be to take attendance by having students answer a question on a sticky note with their name on it. Teachers can also create Venn diagram, and use arrows to draw attention to important parts of the lesson. Also, teachers may use this resources for guided notes.
Jamboard is a great example of teachers knowing resources that they can use in the classroom and what tools come with Google Drive. Teachers are aware they can use Jamboard as a way to give students guided notes or perform assessments. Teachers can use this resource as a way to give formative assessments by creating mini quizzes on the slides or asking thought provoking questions. Another way to use this great tool, is by collecting students opinions on a topic. Teachers can ask a question and students can answer the question on a sticky note, and then put their name after their answer. Jamboard is an interactive tool that can be used in the classroom to keep students engaged in the content being learned. Jamboard is a great example of the ISTE standard 1.1. By using Jamboard in a classroom, students are able to demonstrating their learning. Students can use Jamboard to improve their learning and access as a way to review content. Students can also interact with each other on the Jamboard being used for a lesson. Jamboard is a great way to keep students engaged in the content being taught but also test the students learning. Personally, I could see myself using this resource in my future classroom. I believe Jamboard is a great way to test the knowledge of students as they are actively learning content. I also enjoy the feature where students can add sticky notes to the slides. I would definitely use this feature to ask students a question about the material, and have them respond on a sticky note! This way I can make sure every student is interacting and keep track of their responses. Students can also become familiarized with this resources and the tools that come with, so they have this resource as an option to make presentations.
