s Nearpod is a resource that is available for teachers to use and implement in to their classroom to teach the desired content. This comes more in the form of a presentation. Teachers have a variety of templates to choose from, then they can change the font, the font size, and even implement images into the presentation. Teachers also have the choice to add videos, manipulates, and full class responses. Teachers can make their presentations interactive by adding games as a form of assessment during the presentation, they can add full class response, and graphic organizers. Teachers can also choose to create activity that test students knowledge of content before the lesson begins. The use of this resource in the classroom shows the teacher is aware of what different resources are available to implement in the classroom. This also portrays how the teachers is aware of different discussion and questioning techniques to test the students knowledge. To do this, teachers can choose a game to add to the presentation, and add the desired content into the game to assess the students learning. This resource is great way to keep students engaged in learning throughout instructions. Teachers have the ability to make students answer short answer responses during the presentation, this way the teacher can look for any misconceptions about the material. Personally, I could see myself implementing this tool into my classroom. I could use this resource to not only teach new materials but quiz students on the material. I can also add videos into the presentation for students to watch and make it available to students from home. I enjoy that you can choose from a large variety of templates and change the slides as you create the lesson. I am fan of how easy it is to implement pdfs and images. I could use this resource also as an icebreaker to start my students on a positive note. By using this resource, students can prove they are empowered learners. Students can use this resource to demonstrate what they know of the content being learned and improve their practice on the material by participating in short responses or games. This resource is a great way of implementing communication during a lesson, so students can talk to each other and see peers answers by asking short response questions. Critical thinking can also be implemented by using the different games, and questioning and reflecting activities to challenge the students on what is being learned.
